We’re looking for a dedicated intern to work alongside researchers and engineers at Huawei Canada. This 12-month internship offers hands-on experience in designing prototypes that integrate voice, touch, gesture, and other interaction methods. You will utilize AI/ML models, explore practical trade-offs, and collaborate closely with experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build prototypes demonstrating multimodal interactions

• Integrate AI/ML models into applications and demos

• Implement interaction logic across various inputs

• Collaborate on translating human-AI concepts into prototypes

• Write clean code and conduct focused tests

Requirements:

• Pursuing Master’s or PhD in relevant fields

• Strong programming skills in Python and another language

• Understanding of data structures and algorithms

• Experience with machine learning frameworks

• Ability to independently build technical projects
