We’re looking for a Senior
Java Developer to join our engineering team and play a key role in building software that connects and manages modern network infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work on impactful solutions that combine Java development with networking technologies and API integration.
You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers to develop reliable, scalable applications, solve challenging technical problems, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate enjoys working with modern technologies, writing quality software, and being part of a collaborative Agile team.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:- Developing, optimizing, and maintaining Java applications to communicate with network devices to send configuration commands and process metrics and alarms
- Writing clean, modular, and reusable Java code following best practices and available language features and open-source libraries.
- Working closely with other developers to integrate Netconf/Yang and REST APIs.
- Optimizing applications for performance, scalability, security and reliability
- Debugging and troubleshooting issues in development/UAT/production.
- Writing unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Junit.
- Participating in code reviews and agile development sprints etc.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related fields.
- 8-12 years of professional experience in software development with significant experience in backend development.
- Proven experience in Java development especially microservice development in a containerized environment using Spring Boot or Quarkus etc .
- Experience working with Netconf (or restconf) and Yang modelling
- Experience working with messaging systems such as Kafka.
- Experience implementing RESTful APIs.
- Experience in socket programming working with protocols such TCP, UDP etc.
- Understanding of security best practices (mTLS, OIDC/OAuth2, RBAC, etc).
- Experience working in Kubernetes environments (using Helm etc)
- Strong understanding of Git/Github for version control.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a global engineering environment.
- Experience working in Agile and Continuous Deployment environments
- Experience working in Linux environments and proficiency in shell scripting
- Familiarity with AWS
