Our client is seeking a contract based Senior Full Stack Engineer focused on building APIs and modern web applications using React, NestJS, and Azure cloud services.
Duration: 6 months to start

Hybrid Markham (4d)
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using NestJS and Type Script.
Build and enhance modern web applications using React.
Develop event-driven architectures and distributed systems using best practices.
Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Azure Container Apps, and Azure API Management (APIM).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines through Azure Dev Ops to enable efficient and reliable deployments.
Use Infrastructure as Code (Bicep) to provision and manage Azure resources.
Design and optimize relational and No
SQL databases to support scalable application performance.
Implement feature flags and incremental deployment strategies to safely release new features.
Ensure systems are observable and production-ready using monitoring, logging, and telemetry tools in Azure.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while following secure development practices.
Requirements:
8–10+ years of experience developing scalable full stack applications.
Strong experience with React and Type Script for frontend development.
Backend development experience with NestJS and Node.js.
Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures.
Hands-on experience deploying applications using Docker, Azure Container Apps, and Azure API Management (APIM).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or similar tools).
Strong knowledge of SQL and No
SQL databases and data modeling.
Experience implementing testing strategies, code quality practices, and application observability.
Familiarity with secure coding practices and modern application security principles.
Comfortable working in fast-paced agile environments with evolving requirements.
Ability to take ownership and deliver production-ready solutions quickly and iteratively.
