Drive front load garbage routes for Waste Connections of Canada while applying safe vehicle operation and professional customer service every day.
This Front Load Truck Driver position serves local residents and businesses through solid waste collection. You will operate a garbage truck on specified routes, read route sheets, and complete assigned services. The work also includes vehicle inspections, customer interactions, and other assigned duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate garbage trucks on specified collection routes
- Read route sheets and service identified customers
- Complete pre-route and post-route vehicle inspections
- Check fluids, safety equipment, and tires
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers
- Valid Class DZ or AZ license
- Valid Class 3F or Class 3A license
- Clean driving record
- Two or more years of local route driving experience
- Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements
