Responsible for fulfillment of client equipment and supply orders and other warehouse duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage pick‑pack operations on the business line, including creating labels and return labels for Canada Post, Purolator, and UPS.
Manage the team to ensure orders are posted and invoices printed using the NAV software.
Ensure the picking and checking of orders meet standards; correctly execute client pick‑up and same‑day driver orders.
Prepare boxes on time for shipment on skids and deliver them to the designated shipment area.
Support transfers to national pharmacies and provide necessary details to the inventory department.
Monitor shelf restocking during and at the end of the shift.
Contact Customer Service and Inventory departments to review order discrepancies and resolve issues.
Manage the return process by coordinating with the relevant department and ensuring proper hand‑offs and closures.
Use inventory management systems to pick inventory, keeping shelves stocked for packing customer orders and labeling shelves correctly.
Regularly review the Corrective Action Request log, identify root causes with the team, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Create and update SOPs for warehouse processes tailored to the business line.
Train staff and collaborate with team leaders from other businesses to cross‑train employees.
Hold regular meetings to communicate team performance, address issues, and encourage improvement ideas via a communication board.
Delegate tasks to team members as necessary.
Ensure backups are trained to assume Team Lead activities in the absence of the Team Lead for business continuity.
Maintain coverage of responsible staff and leadership throughout shift operating hours.
Collaborate with other business Team Leads to support staffing shortages and pool resources to resolve daily or weekly challenges.
Actively participate in problem solving and timely execution.
Share best practices with other warehouse teams.
Provide regular feedback on team and individual performance, supporting employee development through coaching and professional training recommendations.
Model respect and professionalism in interactions with all staff.
Offer constructive criticism when giving feedback to staff and colleagues.
Support the EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) program to improve employee growth, morale, communication, and experience.
Manage staff attendance and holiday planning using a communication board, making it accessible for operations manager review.
Prepare weekly staff hour reports for payroll submission.
Participate in or lead quality assurance activities as directed.
Cross‑train with Team Leads on other business lines in the warehouse as needed.
Maintain general housekeeping duties, ensuring the warehouse is clean and hazard‑free.
Adopt new technologies to meet evolving business needs.
Nice to have forklift experience.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Willingness to work extended periods in cold environments (walk‑in coolers) while handling and packaging pharmaceutical products.
Maintain focus, attention to detail, and adherence to GMP or applicable regulatory guidelines in temperature‑controlled settings.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks in cooler conditions, using appropriate PPE.
Qualifications
College diploma or high‑school diploma or equivalent.

Skills and Abilities
Read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Effectively present information in one‑to‑one and small group settings to employees.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Perform arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Apply common‑sense reasoning to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
Organize workload to use time efficiently.
Function independently.
Familiarity with GMP or applicable regulatory guidelines, particularly for temperature‑controlled storage and handling of pharmaceutical products (must for Warehouse and Dex employees).
Employees in warehouse operations must wear and properly use all essential or required personal protective equipment (PPE) as outlined by department leaders and in accordance with employer safety requirements.
Maintain compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and regulations, including future PPE revisions.
Work Environment
Exposure to toxic and caustic chemicals.
Occasional exposure to fumes and airborne particles.
Noise level is generally moderate.
Weekend and evening work may be required.
