Adecco is currently hiring a Shipping & Stock Associate for a full-time temporary opportunity. This role is ideal for a dependable warehouse professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced distribution environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork. In this position, you will support shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment activities while ensuring products are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently.

  • Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

  • Location: Stouffville, ON

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • Employment Type: Full-Time | 6-Month Temporary Contract (Potential for Extension)

Responsibilities
  • Prepare customer and stock orders for shipment by verifying product descriptions, lot numbers, and quantities.

  • Generate packing slips and shipping documentation using computerized systems.

  • Operate packaging and strapping equipment to prepare orders for shipment.

  • Process shipments using Fed Ex, Purolator, UPS, and internal shipping systems.

  • Prepare cross-dock shipments and coordinate outgoing deliveries.

  • Receive incoming shipments of supplies and inventory.

  • Build boxes and replenish packing materials at workstations.

  • Recycle packaging materials and maintain a clean work area.

  • Pick products accurately for customer orders and deliver them to scanning stations.

  • Receive inventory from manufacturers and scan products into bulk storage locations.

  • Replenish inventory in live picking locations.

  • Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels.

  • Process customer returns and returned merchandise.

  • Maintain productivity and quality standards established by the department.

  • Work safely while following all company quality policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members across multiple departments.

  • Communicate professionally and remain calm in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Work overtime when required to support operational needs.

Qualifications
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.

  • Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, stock, or inventory experience is considered an asset.

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.

  • Ability to accurately identify products and catalog descriptions.

  • Comfortable using computers and warehouse systems for shipping and inventory transactions.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to stand and remain mobile throughout an entire shift.

  • Ability to frequently walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and use hands throughout the workday.

  • Ability to occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to remain calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
