Middle School Special Education Teacher – Small Caseload
Markham, IL 60428
A welcoming school district in Markham, IL is hiring a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year. This full-time position supports an 8th-grade classroom with a manageable caseload of approximately 10 students

- Full-time (32.5–34 hours per week)
- Full school year assignment
- One school location
- 8th-grade students
- Small caseload (approximately 10 students)
- Combination of resource and self-contained services
- Teach Math, Literacy, and Social Studies
- Students participate in general education Science instruction
- Develop and implement IEPs while collaborating with multidisciplinary staff

- Primarily students with:
- Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD)
- Other Health Impairments (OHI/ADHD)
- Active Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement
