Senior Accountant

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Marlborough, MA.

• Senior Accountant will manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
• Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
