Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for optimizing sales processes by analyzing performance data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency and revenue growth. It also manages CRM systems, ensures data accuracy, and supports strategic decision-making through reporting and forecasting with commercial partners.
Reports to the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations and is part of the Commercial Operations team located in the United States and will preferably be an on-site role located in Waltham, MA.
Responsibilities- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for commercial and revenue performance improvement
- Develop and deliver dashboards, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision making with Sales Leaders and their teams
- Support territory planning, quota setting, and incentive programs that align with organizational strategy and provide direction to selling teams
- Maintain and assist in routine contracted pricing updates for Abcam’s global customer base
- Maintain and optimize CRM systems along with IT business partners to ensure that data integrity exists and accurate reporting is available for commercial leads
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field with 3+ Years of experience in Sales Operations or Commercial Operations related roles
- Expertise with data visualization tools (Tableau and Power
BI) - Firm understanding of sales processes, revenue drivers, and an ability to translate commercial strategy to tactics with management
- Strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with customer operations and sales leadership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with in-depth Excel skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time as business dictates
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 20lb
- Tableau or other BI tools
- Experience working in a lab setting/biotech will be a plus
- Experience working with Oracle and will be a plus
The annual salary range for this role is $80,000-$90,000. This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Employees receive a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
