Akkodis is seeking a R&D Technician II for a Contract with a client in Marlborough, MA
. You will test prototypes per engineering instructions and document results, while supporting calibration and maintenance programs for R&D equipment.
Rate Range: $25/hour to $32/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
R&D Technician IIJob Responsibilities
- Assemble prototypes and products according to design plans and engineering specifications.
- Troubleshoot and suggest creative solutions for process and design issues during development.
- Test prototypes per engineering instructions and accurately document test results for analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to obtain necessary supplies and services for prototype builds.
- Perform basic statistical analysis on test results to support engineering decisions.
- Train team members on new product processes and procedures and assist with calibration and maintenance programs for R&D test equipment.
- Associate degree (AA) in a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in prototype assembly, testing, or related technical work.
- Ability to assemble prototypes and perform troubleshooting on design and process issues.
- Experience in testing prototypes per engineering instructions and documenting results accurately.
$25.00 to $32.00 per hour.
