Duties- Assemble, test, inspect, and repair medical instruments, components, assemblies, and prototypes
- Assist in the development and review of manufacturing documentation for new medical instruments, device prototypes including work instructions, test plans, and test procedures
- Read schematics, mechanical drawings, and work instructions to ensure proper assembly and testing of medical instruments and device prototypes
- Perform root cause failure investigations on medical instruments, device products and prototypes
- Record test data and generate test reports
Experience
Required:
- 3+ years of assembly/test experience with medical instruments, devices and prototypes
- Assembling of miniature optical, optomechanical and electronic assemblies under microscope
- Low temperature soldering under microscope of miniature wires and components (
