SummaryThe Treasury Management Specialist serves as a resource to the Treasury Management Department by providing professional, courteous, and efficient customer service to the bank’s business customers and personnel. Responsibilities include performing customer setups on the system, reviewing and maintaining customer files, monitoring product usage and system operations, resolving problems within authority, supporting audits and examinations, preparing reports, participating in special department projects, and assisting Deposit Operations as needed.

- Demonstrating mastery of product and technical knowledge related to Treasury Management products and services.
- Provide support and training to business clients to fulfill needs and solve problems related to Treasury Management products, deposit accounts and general requests.
- Set-up products and services on Business Online Banking after performing a review of accuracy and completeness according to policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with South Shore Bank’s digital technology offerings including Business Online Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, ACH Originations, Wires, Positive Pay and Mobile Banking.
- Process monthly Account Analysis statements for Treasury Management clients.
- Contribute to the development and ongoing assessment of operational policy and procedures, adjusting as needed in response to operational or regulatory changes.
- Proficiently troubleshoot technical issues such as file format, browser or firewall changes.
- Prepare and organize required reports on a scheduled basis.
- Provide backup to the Treasury Management Team as needed.
- Review maintenance reports and resolve inconsistencies.
- Assist Treasury Management on special projects including product implementation.
- Adhere to privacy and data security policies, protecting non‑public information.
- Complete all internal bank training as required.
- Exhibit the ability and desire to embrace and enhance the bank culture.
- 2+ years of experience working with and understanding the needs of business clients.
- Knowledge of bank operations and Treasury Management products including Business Online Banking, RDC, ACH, and Wires services.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience performing advanced level digital banking activities, implementing new digital services, and facilitating system upgrades.
- Demonstrated self‑directed ability to translate assignments into plans and actions.
- Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to present ideas concisely.
The pay range for this position is $26.00 to $32.00 per hour. The bank may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range; the range may be modified in the future.
