Position: Rad Tech, Radiology, 32Hrs Days,e/o wknd

** I. Major Responsibilities:
** 8. Provides Radiological technology skills to perform all exams including portables, Emergency Department work, C-ARM, fluoroscopy, and general radiology procedures.
9. Assists with any other job-related duties including film hanging, office duties and discrepancy documentation and follow-up.
** Standard Staffing Level Responsibilities:
** 4. Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements.
7. Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed.

All responsibilities are essential job functions.

1. Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with peers to product optimum results.
2. Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families.

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.

Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.

Often:  Sitting, Bending, Kneeling, Performing Repetitive Movements, High Level of Stress, Precise Motor Skills required;
Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, and Pulling – 10 pounds to over 100 pounds.
