Requirements:
- Must have current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Respiratory Therapist.
- RRT or CRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
- BLS healthcare provider required.
- 2 years of RRT experience is required.
- Will be required to float to other campuses, as needed.
Duties
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as per physician orders.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history.
- Manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment effectively.
- Provide emergency care in critical situations, including airway management and basic life support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care settings.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pulmonology to ensure comprehensive patient care.
