Raytheon's SWCM department is hiring a Senior Software Configuration Management Engineer, to work onsite in Marlborough, MA.

What You Will Do:

Be part of the #SWCM team at Raytheon:
The Software Configuration Management (SWCM) department provides innovative solutions through automation, continuous improvement, and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital computing products: embedded software, firmware/configurable logic, test equipment, simulation, COTS and tools.
* Design, plan, enforce and coordinate CM and tool processes and procedures

* Configuration Planning & Identification, Change Management & Version Control

* Status Accounting & Configuration Audits

* Manage digital product development/media libraries

* Document and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management, build and versioning

* SWCM Tool administration / manages all access to tool applications (i.e. Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server (ADS), Git, Bit Bucket, JIRA, Confluence, Clear Case

* Administer/manage/use Dev Sec Ops  tools like Coverity, Artifactory, Jenkins, Nexus, Git Lab CI/CD, Bamboo

* Facilitate the Digital Change Review Boards (DCRBs)

* Maintain familiarity with program schedule, budget, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency

* Coordination of data transfers, courier support among various environments

* Lead coordination of various digital product releases and interface with functional and program leadership ensuring on-time delivery and ensuring configuration management execution in multi-environment areas.

* Follow RTX Policies and Directives in accordance with established program documentation and work instructions under close direction of SWCM Team Lead and/or Section Leader.

* Work onsite at Marlborough, MA Qualifications You Must Have:
* Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) AND a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.

* Experience with version control and change management/agile planning tools.

* Software Configuration Management technology, Information Technology (IT), and/or development/scripting experience.

* Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux Operating Systems.

* Experience working with cross functional teams.

* The ability to obtain and maintain an
*** interim Secret U.S. security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer:
* Advanced knowledge in Software Configuration Management principles, process, and implementation/execution

* Solving complex problems, sharing knowledge, and documenting work

* Experience with SWCM tools (Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server (ADS) - Git, Bit Bucket, IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), and/or IBM Rational Clear Case, Synergy, Jenkins, Artifactory

* Experience with scripting programming languages (i.e., Perl, shell, batch, Python, Ruby, or YAML)

* Experience with Continuous Improvement, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Git Flow, and Agile concepts

* Database / SWCM tool administration experience

* Proven experience with configuration management concepts and implementation

* Experience with software industry best practices such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI)

* Proven collaboration and effective communication with individuals and cross functional organizations
