BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an innovative and results-driven Industrial Engineering Manager to design and lead initiatives that drive measurable improvements in sales performance, labor productivity, and operational efficiency across our retail stores and digital channels. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, analytical expertise, and practical leadership, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable, data-backed solutions.

The Industrial Engineering Manager will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance the member experience, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in a dynamic, member-centric environment.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Identify and implement process improvements that increase sales conversion, basket size, and member retention across in-club and digital channels.
* Analyze store operations—including staffing models, checkout efficiency, inventory flow, and merchandising execution—to uncover opportunities for productivity and profitability.
* Enhance digital platform functionality by streamlining order fulfillment, improving site/app navigation, and reducing friction in the online purchase journey.
* Lead time and motion studies, labor standards development, and workflow reengineering to improve throughput and reduce waste.
* Translate operational data and member behavior insights into actionable strategies aligned with business goals.
* Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies to enhance speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
* Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, provide detailed cost benefit analysis and/or ROI, guide change management and implementation efforts.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, IT, supply chain, and store operations to align engineering solutions with strategic priorities.
* Mentor and manage a team of engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
* Manage a portfolio of projects across departments, ensuring timely execution, budget adherence, and measurable impact on key performance indicators.
