We Are

Signal Fire Wireless Telemetry designs and manufactures low-powered industrial solutions for reliable, user-friendly sensing, controlling, and monitoring – without the use of wires. Our platform is compatible with most industrial sensors and available with 900MHz Radio Frequency or Cellular & Cloud with LTE-M1 for flexibility and cost effectiveness. These products are robust and certified for hazardous locations with a built-in secure communication protocol that enables long-distance wireless communication connecting multiple devices together in challenging outdoor environments.

Our objective is to provide users with the solution they need to digitally transform their operations with the use of existing or new sensors without running wires, cables, and conduit.

Position Overview

We are seeking a full time, 1st- shift Assembly Technician for our industrial electronics production team. The Technician will assemble a wide variety of electronic equipment using basic hand and power tools as well as test and calibration in a clean, climate controlled work environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assemble products using basic hand tools and power tools, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Test and calibrate electronic components using automated test software to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for quality, identifying and correcting any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain a consistent pace of work to achieve production targets and uphold quality requirements.
  • Package and prepare finished products for shipment, ensuring all items are securely packed and properly labeled.
  • Complete assigned tasks within designated time frames while keeping the work area clean and organized.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with other staff members to support teamwork and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of professional experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with product assembly.
  • Shipping / Receiving experience a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft 365 and ERP systems.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to perform soldering on both through-hole (TH) and surface-mount technology (SMT) electronic components, highly preferred.
  • Basic electronics and troubleshooting knowledge, highly preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands:
    Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Able to lift and carry up to 20lbs, bend, reach, squat.
  • Visual Demands:
    Must be able to look at a computer monitor for extended periods.
  • Manufacturing Environment:
    Must be able to work in a manufacturing company, which may involve exposure to machinery, noise, and other industrial conditions.
