Travel Overnight Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Optum Care

Optum Care, the largest network of medical groups in the nation, is seeking a full-time overnight Traveler Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our corporate care team. As a Primary Care Provider, you will practice whole-person primary care without many of the constraints of a traditional community practice. At Optum, we are transforming healthcare nationally while providing dedicated health care delivery locally.

This is a full-time 100 percent Traveler role covering 24 on-site clinics in TN, TX, MA, IN, MO, WI, FL, DE and AZ. Hotel, flights, rental cars, etc. during weekly overnight travel will be covered.

Deliver the highest quality primary care services including:

• Wellness and Preventative Physical Exams
• Acute care of minor illness and injuries
• Chronic Disease Management and Longitudinal care
• Minor procedures (suturing, splinting, incision/drainage, etc.)
• Lifestyle and well-being counseling
• Medical management of behavioral health conditions
• Telemedicine services
• Provide clinical leadership of worksite staff
• Work closely with a certified medical assistant

• Providers are supported to practice at the peak of their license
• Patients are treated like family. We focus on helping patients get in, get healthy, and get back to what's really important

• Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC/AANP or certified as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA
• 1.5+ years of experience working independently
• Unrestricted DEA license (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Must be CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Willing and able to travel overnight with expenses covered 100% of the time

• Clinical experience working as a provider in a primary care setting
