We are currently looking for friendly, energetic, and dedicated bartenders to join our team and help us continue to provide excellent service to our valued guests.

Kennedy’s is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and customer-focused indoor/outdoor Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you ll be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and providing exceptional service to our guests. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guests have a memorable experience from start to finish. This is a tipped position.

• Set Up & Prepare:
  Complete opening and closing duties to ensure the bar area is stocked, organized, and ready for service.
• Customer Service:
  Serve beverages promptly, offering friendly and attentive service while engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
• Menu Knowledge:
  Maintain an in-depth understanding of the drink menu, including signature cocktails, daily specials, and promotions. Use suggestive selling techniques to upsell items and provide recommendations.
• Drink Preparation:
  Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Kennedy’s standards and recipes.
• Order Accuracy:
  Take drink and food orders from guests and communicate clearly with the back of house staff to ensure timely preparation and service.
• Payment Processing:
  Handle guest payments accurately, process transactions quickly, and provide change when necessary.
• Cleanliness & Safety:
  Ensure the bar area remains clean and organized throughout the shift. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and report any safety concerns to management.
• Restocking:
  Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies such as alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware. Inform management of low stock and assist in restocking as needed.

  Work closely with other team members, including servers, kitchen and support staff, to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

• Experience:
  
  Previous bartending experience is required.

  Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.

  Ability to follow recipes and maintain high standards for drink presentation and quality.
• Flexibility:
  Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, especially during peak hours.

• The bar area can be busy and loud, especially during peak hours, so the ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment is essential.
• Bartenders will be on their feet for most of the shift and must be able to move quickly between the bar and service areas.
• Bartenders will be working both inside the main dining room and outside on our garden patio.

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and climb as required during the shift.
• Multitask and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Perform all duties both inside and outside all year round.
