At Boston Scientific we provide opportunities to work with diverse high‑performing teams tackling important health industry challenges. This role is part of the Urology Sales Compensation team supporting over 250 U.S. sales representatives.
About the roleThe Principal Sales Operations Analyst develops, designs, and generates sales incentive compensation plans and territorial sales quotas for all field sales personnel. The role manages administration of sales compensation plans, employment agreements and ensures accuracy of compensation data. The Analyst develops analyses to measure incentive effectiveness and territory design.
Work model, sponsorship, relocationThis hybrid role requires office presence at least three days per week. No sponsorship or relocation assistance is available.
Your responsibilities will include:- Managing monthly and quarterly commission and bonus payment process
- Processing and reporting of compensation, revenue and quota adjustments
- Ensuring accuracy of commission plans and payment calculations within the Anaplan Compensation Model
- Assisting sales team with compensation questions and concerns
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements of compensation tools
- Designing and executing product focus promotions and contests
- Developing, executing and improving Field Sales awards programs
- Assisting COE, reporting, and compensation teams to enhance sales compensation systems
- Assisting in audits of compensation payments and processes
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in sales operations, sales support and/or analytical roles
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word; ability to access databases, cross‑reference, perform data validation and basic formulas
- Strong independent work style with ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and customer service
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Tableau, Anaplan and Microsoft Office Suite
- Team player with positive attitude, able to build long‑lasting relationships
- Ability to balance short‑term urgent needs with long‑term strategic initiatives
- Medical device experience preferred
