Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Raytheon Technologies is hiring a Software Development Engineer to support our Radar Product Line Team. This role will be 100% on‑site in Marlborough or Tewksbury, Massachusetts.

• Assist in requirements, design, development, and testing of real‑time embedded software, application software, and tools.
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
• Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering professionals.
• Follow established development practices and processes to maintain configuration management of software products.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience with C++ and
  
  C.
• Active U.S. government‑issued security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.

• Experience with C++, C, Java or similar high‑level programming language.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, systems software design, operating systems, and architectures.
• Experience in a Unix/Linux operating system.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to produce technical documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross‑functional teams.
• Experience developing software in a team‑based environment, preferably Agile/SCRUM, Dev Ops, and test automation.

Salary range: $82,000 – $164,000 USD.
