Marlborough Country Club is a private golf course that accommodates public play on Mondays and Tuesdays. The back nine was originally designed and built in 1922 by Wayne

E. Styles. In 1970, Geoffrey Cornish expanded the golf course with what is now the front nine. MCC strives to provide tournament conditions daily for members and their guests.

Working directly with the superintendent and assistant superintendent, the second assistant superintendent will assist in daily planning, supervision, and implementation of maintenance across all aspects of the golf course. They will also assist with the training and supervision of the golf course maintenance staff.

• The candidate must be motivated, possess hard work ethics, and be team oriented.
• 2-4 years of golf course experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a MA Pesticide License within 60 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license.

• Planning and supervision of greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers.
• Knowledge of golf course set-up.
• Staff scheduling, supervision, and training.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills with initiative to resolve.
• Pesticide and fertilizer application in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and repairs.
