Business Change Manager

The Business Change Manager will play a critical role in ensuring Softcat’s technology, process, and organisational initiatives deliver real, measurable benefits. You will work with project teams, product owners, and stakeholders to design and deliver effective change strategies across Softcat’s programmes and transformation initiatives.

• Change Strategy & Planning – develop and own holistic change strategies and plans that ensure initiatives are understood, adopted, and embedded successfully.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – build strong, credible relationships across all levels of the business to ensure change lands effectively.
• Adoption, Training & Business Readiness – drive readiness and ensure teams feel confident, capable, and supported throughout change.
• Benefits Realisation & Continuous Improvement – ensure change is sustained and continues to drive value beyond go‑live.

• Proven experience in a Business Change, Change Management, or similar people‑focused transformation role.
• Strong understanding of change frameworks and methodologies (e.g. Prosci ADKAR, APMG, Kotter) with the ability to apply them pragmatically.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, simple messages tailored to different audiences.
• Experience delivering change within technology‑enabled transformation programmes.
