Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school, where you’ll inspire pupils to develop their knowledge, confidence, and love of learning across the Primary National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum.
- Teach pupils across a range of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, and foundation subjects.
- Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupils to participate, learn, and achieve.
- Develop pupils’ literacy, numeracy, reading, writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupils’ progress, using assessment data to inform planning and provide targeted support.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance, and engagement within the classroom.
- Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities and learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Contribute to planning, assessment, school events, and wider school activities where required.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for inspiring and supporting pupils through engaging and inclusive teaching.
- A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupils of all abilities.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
