Maths Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational Maths Teacher to join a successful Mathematics Department at a secondary school in Marlow.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about mathematics and believes that every student can achieve highly. You will join a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to delivering engaging, challenging and accessible lessons that develop students' confidence, curiosity and problem-solving skills.

The role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire students to develop a genuine interest in mathematics and its applications.
Set high expectations for achievement, behaviour and personal development.
Use a range of effective teaching strategies to support students of all abilities.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive and meaningful feedback.
Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and department resources.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support student outcomes.
Take an active role in the wider life of the school.

We are looking for someone who

Is a qualified teacher or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has a strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
Is passionate about teaching and committed to achieving excellent outcomes for students.
Can create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Has high expectations of all students and is committed to helping every learner succeed.
Is an effective communicator and team player.
Is reflective, enthusiastic and keen to contribute to the continued development of the department.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
