The Opportunity:

Finatal is partnering with a highly active investment family office with a diversified portfolio across private equity, operating businesses, real assets, and venture investments.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a Group CFO role within a sophisticated, entrepreneurial investment platform. The Group CFO will act as a trusted advisor to the principal and leadership team, owning financial strategy, governance, and performance management across the group and portfolio entities.

The Role:

• Act as Group CFO across the family office and portfolio structures
• Partner with the principal on financial strategy, capital allocation, and performance
• Lead and develop the group finance function and portfolio finance oversight
• Establish governance, controls, and reporting standards

Group Finance & Reporting

• Own group consolidation, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow
• Lead audit processes and manage external advisors
• Deliver high-quality financial insight to support investment decisions
• Partner with investment teams on deals, structuring, and integrations
• Support portfolio CFOs on performance, value creation, and capital structure
• Oversee valuations, returns analysis, and exit planning

Treasury, Structuring & Platform

• Oversee treasury, banking, tax structuring, and risk management
• Build scalable finance infrastructure, systems, and processes
• Act as senior interface with administrators, auditors, and advisors

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• 10–15+ years’ senior finance experience within family offices, PE-backed groups, or investment firms
• Proven Group CFO / FD experience in multi-entity, investment-led environments
• Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management
• Track record of building scalable finance functions and infrastructure
