Finance Assistant

We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a client based in Marlow within the professional services sector. This broad role will be responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Control activities, playing a key part in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function.

Finance Assistant responsibilities:

• Process invoices and ensure accurate data entry into financial systems
• Assist with bank reconciliations and account management
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
• Maintain and organise financial records and documentation
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding financial queries
• Assist with payroll and expense processing
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team

A Successful Finance Assistant Should Have:

• Experience in financial administration or a related role
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency with financial software and tools
• Good communication skills
• A positive attitude towards learning and adapting to new processes

• Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum
