As an Information Security Analyst at Softcat, you will have a key role in promptly and accurately responding to security incidents and enquires. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems and data. Collaborating with various departments, you will help the team monitor and maintain security measures, policies, and procedures, keeping Softcat protected from cyber threats and compliant with relevant regulations.

As Information Security Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

• Monitoring and triaging alerts from our security controls.
• Assisting employees across Softcat with any security related enquiries and incident response.
• Collaborating with our security monitoring and incident response service partners.
• Ensuring incidents are recorded and responded to in accordance with our processes and procedures.
• Support compliance activities such as Cyber Essentials, ISO
  27001 and other internal and external audits

We'd love you to have:

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisation skills.
• A basic knowledge of enterprise IT and cloud (Entra , Azure, Intune).
• Experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g. Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7) is desired but not essential.
• Confidence to learn new things and apply existing knowledge to new scenarios.
• A desire to take ownership of challenges and finding solutions to them
