Job Overview

Housekeeping Assistant – Bank at Cliveden Manor Care Home in Marlow. You will work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home, operating according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, and maintaining hotel service standards.

• Carry out cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understand cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials.
• Ensure all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect, respecting their personal space and belongings.
• Operate in line with housekeeping and laundry SOPs, maintaining hotel service standards.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, including Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high‑quality housekeeping/laundry service for residents.
• Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
• Live the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable.

• DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
