They are looking for a highly motivated Business Manager to join their team, playing a pivotal role in managing clinical trial comparator sourcing activities and delivering exceptional service for clients worldwide. This client‑facing, project‑led role offers the potential to progress into a senior management position in the future.
The RoleAs a Business Manager you will manage and develop allocated client accounts, and lead the planning, execution and delivery of comparator sourcing projects. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and third‑party suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Include- Lead client account development from start to finish, including preparing quotes, proposals and progress reports.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate best prices and obtain key documentation (e.g. CoA, MSDS, stability data).
- Coordinate logistics with client and internal teams to ensure compliant and timely delivery of medicinal products worldwide.
- Track project timelines and deliverables, manage changes in scope and implement contingency plans where needed.
- Conduct post‑project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify improvements.
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- 3+ years experience in a project or account management capacity, ideally within life sciences or a commercial environment.
- A degree in a scientific discipline (Masters or PhD desirable).
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience with enterprise resource or stock control systems is advantageous.
