Marlow Job Type: Permanent Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
Hours:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday The Opportunity of Test Technician We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Test Technician to join a growing manufacturing and engineering team based in Marlow. This is a hands-on role that combines testing, fault diagnosis, product configuration, and production support. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will play an important part in ensuring products meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule. This opportunity would suit someone with previous ATE testing experience, RF knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for working with advanced technology.
Key Responsibilities of Test Technician:
Investigate and diagnose faults identified during testing and support corrective actions. Carry out testing activities using automated test systems and established test procedures. Configure and programme assemblies and finished products using specialist software and equipment. Support production operations through occasional assembly, modification, and rework tasks where required. Ensure all products meet quality, performance, and compliance requirements before release. Communicate any production issues, technical concerns, or delays to relevant team members promptly.
Maintain accurate records and follow documented manufacturing and testing procedures. Contribute to a safe, organised, and efficient working environment by adhering to company procedures and health and safety policies. Skills &
Experience of Test Technician:
Competent using test equipment and diagnostic tools. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Understanding of electrical, electronic and RF principles Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Comfortable using computer-based systems and software packages, including Microsoft Office. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with strong communication skills with the ability to relay technical information clearly.
