Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

A Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer with extensive experience writing efficient code in C/C++ for microcontrollers and processors will join a Global Technology Company, delivering innovative electronic equipment to the broadcast industry.
You’ll take designs from concept through to production - bringing strong C/C++ programming to write efficient code; will undertake hardware-software integration and system optimization as well as debugging and troubleshooting.
Qualified to Degree level in a relevant Engineering discipline, the successful Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer will bring several years’ industrial design experience which should include Low-Level experience with Linux, Bare Metal coding and good knowledge of communication protocols.
Key Skills and Experience sought include:
 
* Degree in Electronics, Software, Computer Science or similar discipline.
 
* Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
 
* Linux Operating Systems and Drivers.
 
* Bare Metal coding.
 
* Writing code for Microcontrollers and processors to control hardware.
 
* Good knowledge of communication protocols.
 
* Low level experience with RTOS.
Previous experience related to Broadcast or Pro AV products would be highly beneficial as would knowledge of audio and video protocols.
