About the Role
Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services, in partnership with CFG Health Network, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Part-Time Psychiatrist to provide direct in-person psychiatric care for two community-based teams located in Little Falls, NJ
.
This role offers a consistent once-per-week, in-person schedule while supporting adults living with serious mental illness in a recovery-oriented model. This role can be fulfilled by one or two providers.
The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative, community-based care, enjoys working in the field, and is committed to delivering high-quality psychiatric services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations
, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing medication management. - Deliver medication counseling and psychoeducation in collaboration with the treatment team.
- Work in the field alongside a staff partner to assess and support individuals in community settings (home visits, community sites, etc.).
- Coordinate care with Bridgeway team members—including clinicians, nurses, and case managers—to ensure comprehensive treatment planning.
- Participate in team meetings, documentation, and follow-up as needed for continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation in accordance with CFG and Bridgeway standards.
- Support a recovery-focused, person-centered care model.
Schedule & Structure
- Total:
15.5 hours per week - 7.5 hours with Program/Team A
- 8 hours with Program/Team B
- All services must be performed in person at the Little Falls site.
- Some time will be spent in the field conducting community-based evaluations with a staff partner.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry (if finished residency within 5 years).
- Valid New Jersey medical license and CDS/DEA registrations.
- Experience with community-based or mobile treatment models preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to recovery-focused, strengths-based care.
