Tutor – Grades K-12 (Part Time, Evening & Weekends)

Marlton Center, Sylvan Learning Center – Marlton, NJ.

Job Description

We are looking for a part‑time tutor to teach Reading, Math, Writing, and Homework Support to students in grades K‑12. This role is scheduled for evenings and weekends, with flexible daily hours.

Responsibilities

• Use fully prepared lesson plans and materials provided by the center.
• Adapt instruction to individual student needs and learning styles.
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and supportive classroom environment.
• Provide homework support and monitor student progress.

Qualifications & Requirements

• State or provincial teaching credentials.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching/tutoring experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or Teaching Certificate.
• Understanding of curriculum for K‑12 levels.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.

Schedule

Open days & times:
Monday‑Thursday 4:00 pm‑8:00 pm;
Saturday 9:00 am‑1:00 pm. You can choose how many days/hours to work.
