Revenue Cycle Representative

Summary: The Revenue Cycle Representative is responsible for maintaining adequate cash flow to maintain center operations and is expected to interact with staff members in aprofessional manner in order to meet patient and Center billing needs.

Hours: This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a flexible schedule. General daytime hours Monday – Friday.

Location: Marlton, NJ

Position Responsibilities/Duties:

• Posting payments and adjustments accurately and timely from third party billing sources into computer system
• Follow-up/collections on denied claims from all third party carriers as back up only
• Responds to claim inquiry requests from all third party carriers as back up only
• Maintains accurate filing system
• Scrubs previous day’s encounters to ensure CPT& ICD code accuracy before submission to third party carriers
• Filing lockbox/Receivables ensuring totals from daily cash receipts match deposits
• Reset log from adjusting patient account
• Generates and mails insurance claim forms to third party insurances
• Fax Request on Patient (Statement Account) to Attorney’s Office

• 1 to 2 years of related work experience
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Strong computer skills: experience with Navinet, NJMMIS, and EPIC preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent:
  Certificate or diploma from amedical training course preferred
