Buchart Horn is seeking an experienced Construction Services Technician with strong electrical expertise to support a project in Cape May, NJ. This role is ideal for a retired or semi-retired electrician who wants flexible or intermittent work while continuing to apply their technical knowledge in the field. You will serve as the electrical-focused resource on-site, ensuring contractor work meets project specifications, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.

• Perform on-site construction inspections focused on electrical systems and installations
• Verify contractor work complies with design documents and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Observe & document daily progress, issues, and field conditions
• Communicate findings to the project team and assist with issue resolution
• Monitor safety practices and ensure work is performed in accordance with standards
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and photographic documentation
• Work independently on an active construction site with minimal supervision

• Retired or highly experienced electrician strongly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of electrical construction practices and the NEC
• Ability to work independently and manage daily site responsibilities
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
• Comfort working on active construction sites
