Irrigation Technician

Merit Landscape Solutions is looking for individuals who have a thorough understanding of all aspects of irrigation systems including but not limited to: irrigation maintenance, trouble-shooting, repairs, and seasonal maintenance. In this position you will analyze and repair irrigation systems; manage watering schedules; perform irrigation activations and winterizations.

A great candidate will have:

• 1-3 years prior irrigation experience
• Irrigation technician license (preferred but not required)
• Ability to pass an MVR
• Authorization to work in the US
• Possesses a valid driver license
• Understands various irrigation controllers & related equipment and how to thoroughly complete and document an irrigation inspection
• Is able to handle the physical demands of our work including adverse weather conditions, heavy lifting (30-80 pounds), and extensive walking
• Is able to communicate effectively in English; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
• Is dependable and punctual, self-motivated and willing to pitch in wherever help is needed

Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr
