Hematology​/Oncology Physician

UPHS Marquette is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Michigan s Upper Peninsula. This is a predominantly outpatient role with manageable call, strong APP and nursing support, and a collegial cancer program serving the region.

• Monday Friday clinic, 8a 5p

• Occasional night and weekend call

• Preference for two consecutive weeks per month

• Ongoing coverage needs beginning January 2026

• Clinic: $290 per hour

• 24-hour call: $2100 per 24-hour shift

• Average patients per day

• 95% outpatient / 5% inpatient

• APPs handle most inpatient rounding

• Call is light and often phone-based

• 4-provider group with dedicated APP support

• Robust RN, navigation, pharmacy, and admin staff

• Accredited cancer program with tumor boards

• Strong referral base and organized workflows

• Board Certified Hematology/Oncology

• Active Michigan license required (IMLC not accepted)

• Comfortable with outpatient oncology and consultative call

• Reasonable volume with excellent support

• Long-term consistency available

• Scenic Upper Peninsula location

• Predictable schedule for experienced oncologists
