Required

• Associates degree or higher degree including related college course work; or have completed 60 semester hours, or achieved a minimum ETS Paraprofessional Assessment score of 460.
• Obtain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention certification within two (2) district training opportunities provided from hire date.
• Obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 60 days of hire date.
• Successful pre-employment physical exam and criminal records background check.

Preferred

• TCI certification
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Experience working with special needs students

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Starting hourly rate $18.91 at 35 hours per week and 185 days per year.

*** Hourly Rate of $18.91 - tentative pending contract approval.
