Donor Technician joining UP Health System Marquette, a 222‑bed hospital with Level II Trauma Center and NICU. This role supports a mission of making communities healthier by collecting blood and managing donor relationships at the hospital.

• Perform phlebotomy both on and off‑site.
• Maintain work area in a safe, aseptic and organized manner.
• Handle clerical duties including answering phones, data entry and filing related to donors.
• Perform quality control and corrective preventive maintenance on equipment, instruments and products.
• Maintain supply inventory.
• Tele‑recruit donors as needed to maintain adequate blood supplies for daily activities at the hospital.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent. Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.
• Licenses:
  Valid driver license.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support‑Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP). Minimum work experience: 6 months of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
