This position involves providing direct nursing care services to members, including assisting with activities of daily living such as hygiene, mobility, dressing, and eating, while ensuring a safe environment for members, staff, and visitors.

This is a test-designated position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing. DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans operates 24 hours a day. Shift availability may vary.
EducationTypically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience- Resident Care Aide 6: No specific experience required.
- Resident Care Aide 7: One year of experience comparable to a Resident Care Aide and successful completion of the Department's Resident Care Aide training program.
- Resident Care Aide E8: Two years of experience comparable to a Resident Care Aide, including one year at the Resident Care Aide 7 level.
Must obtain CENA Certification within 4 months of completing the nurse aide training course and maintain certification to continue employment.
