Powerlink has an immediate need for a highly motivated Dietary Aide with strong customer service skills and a solid work history to join our Food service Operations team. Powerlink is a provider of Healthcare Integrated Services to Long-Term Care and Senior Living Facilities throughout the United States, located in Marquette, MI. We provide award-winning and highly successful solutions within the areas of Food and Nutrition Services, Environmental Services, Institutional Laundry Services and Facility Maintenance.

• Works under the supervision of the Assistant Manager.
• Prepares food, manages production control, inventory control, kitchen safety, sanitation, equipment use, cleaning/sanitizing, food safety, recipe adherence, therapeutic diets, and modified textured foods and liquids.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and assists dietary cooks as necessary.
• Responsible for general sanitation and cleaning including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and taking out trash.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service.
• Minimum one (1) year of food service experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays with flexible hours.
• Background in safety and sanitation compliance.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be local to Marquette, MI and surrounding areas.

• Current Serv Safe® certification or Food Handler certification.
• Experience working in long-term care environment.
