Position SummaryThe Quality Inspector role involves inspection of products made in-house and supplier purchased products. The product is inspected through various high‑precision measurement equipment. The position requires reading, understanding, and following work policies and procedures while working in a team environment. This role helps EXALTA Group maximize the number of patients served while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
Responsibilities- Support operations to achieve optimal product quality.
- Document inspection results and operate inspection equipment.
- Create Non‑Conformance (NC) reports if part(s) inspected do not meet the required specifications.
- Read measurement reports and provide feedback to engineers, machinists, and team members.
- Perform routine Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) inspections and conduct 100% inspections as required, including inspections for in‑house and purchased manufactured semi‑finished and finished goods.
- Inspect for conformance to specifications, drawings, and inspection requirements using various visual, physical, mechanical, and/or electrical evaluations.
- Navigate high‑precision equipment such as CMMs, Keyence, and Vision Systems.
- Participate in Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) measurements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with general shop safety and OSHA requirements.
- High School diploma required.
- 1 year of equivalent work experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills (following standard operations procedures, navigating One Drive/SharePoint, QMS and ERP).
- Basic math and print reading.
- Fundamental or basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to perform basic inspection techniques.
- Team player with ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Positive attitude.
- Strong active listening skills and the ability to follow directions, learn, and adapt.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with various departments.
- Work ethic and punctuality (follow work schedule, work full duration of shift, and work overtime as needed).
