Pay: $7,500 sign‑on bonus (based on meeting eligibility requirements).
About Our TeamThe cardiac department has 36 beds. Patient population and diagnoses include Cardiac and CVA patients, post‑op day 1‑2 CABG, pacemaker patients, bradycardia, tachycardia, SVT, AFIB with RVR or new AF, acute MIs, PCI patients, femoral/femoral bypass, CEAs, and more. We also treat step‑down (IMCU) patients. Nurses gain exposure to critical patients, providing a bridge to departments such as ED and ICU.
HowYou Will Contribute
- Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
- Document patient care provided.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family, providing education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

Applicants must hold a Michigan RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Additional Requirements- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year
