American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift position on a Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit requiring an active MI license and 2+ years of experience.

• 225-bed specialty care hospital with a Level 2 trauma designation
• 7th floor Neuro/Ortho/Peds unit with 24 beds
• Patient population includes all ages over 28 days, with a mix of adult trauma/post-op ortho/neuro and general pediatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekend requirement of 3 weekends every 6 weeks
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to inpatient units required
• Uses Paragon EHR, transitioning to Cerner

• Active MI RN license required
• BLS certification required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of RN experience required, including adult patient care
• Pediatric experience preferred
• ADN required
• AHA certifications required

• Provide nursing care for trauma and post-operative ortho/neuro patients as well as general pediatric patients
• Work within a collaborative, team-oriented unit culture
• Galaxy Blue scrub color required
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
