This is a seasonal position Oct 17, 2025 - April 14, 2026.
Status: Part Time
Job PurposeA Terrain Park Crew Member will assist with the implementation, daily operation, and maintenance of the Winter Park Terrain and skill Parks. The Crew Member will help with organizing and staging special events throughout the season, and will educate guests about safe ski/ riding practices when inside and outside the Terrain Parks. They will consistently provide an exciting and enjoyable experience for our guests, and be a role-model of safe practices.
In addition, a Crew Member will follow all Marquette Mountain policies and procedures, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local), and all health and sanitation codes.
- Perform daily duties within the Terrain Parks such as fencing, signs, feature testing, handwork on features, inspection of features etc.
- Assist with repair and building of terrain park features.
- Create positive and professional interaction with Terrain Park users and work to solicit feedback and formulate reports for Supervisor.
- Circulate and educate Terrain Park users and workers.
- Contact Management/Ski Patrol with terrain/skills parks opening and closures.
- Complete daily logs on maintenance and inspection.
- Report design considerations or undesirable conditions in or out of Terrain Parks to Supervisor – and assist with any corrections necessary.
- Create a memorable, exciting, and pleasant experience for our guests and volunteers daily.
- Help maintain flow in parks.
- Aid Supervisor with event/race set-up, support, and tear down.
- Operate snowmobile safely and in accordance with WP Policies.
- Keep an updated list of tools available and locations.
- Report accidents to Patrol and assist as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of terrain parks and halfpipes
- Must be an expert skier/rider in the park and overall
- Must be able to test small rails and boxes, tables, etc.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs (raking, shoveling & lifting large metal objects)
- Able to work outdoors in adverse winter weather conditions for up to10 hours/day
- Must be able to read, write, speak, comprehend and understand English fluently
- Must be able to direct guests and look out for safety concerns
- Must have a good work ethic
- Demonstrates strong willingness to learn and develop
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays
- Must have to lift up to70lbs
