RN Critical Care role at LCMC Health

• Lead and coordinate all care touchpoints for critical care patients.
• Evaluate vital signs and monitor advanced life support measures.
• Apply knowledge of complex patient conditions, including psycho/social needs.
• Maintain and advocate a safe environment for all patients, staff, and families.
• Monitor and engage with patients, families, and care team members regarding significant events or changes.
• Prevent and treat wounds.
• Execute Joint Commission infection control and environment of care requirements.
• Ensure continuity of care, efficient throughput, and high-quality patient experience.
• Collaborate with nursing supervisors and answer questions about patient care.
• Initiate patient and family education with appropriate resources.
• Assist the team proactively when requested.

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana (as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Variable Hours (United States of America). Sign‑on bonus is offered; benefits are limited but include core health benefits in line with LCMC Health policies.
