RN Labor & Delivery FT Nights

Join the LCMC Health team as a full‑time night nurse in our Labor & Delivery unit. You will deliver expert care to mothers and newborns while safeguarding a safe, high‑quality environment.

• Prioritize, coordinate, and delegate all care touchpoints for delivery and post‑partum patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure appropriate mom/baby care.
• Maintain and advocate a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Monitor patient condition, engage families, and communicate significant events or changes.
• Prevent, assess, and treat wounds and manage Joint Commission infection control requirements.
• Ensure continuity of care, efficient throughput, and an exceptional experience for every patient and family.
• Consult with supervisors when tasks cannot be completed safely or effectively.
• Initiate patient and family education using appropriate resources and continuum of care services.
• Assist teammates proactively without being asked.

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current NRP certification (within 6 months).
• Current NALS certification.
• Preferred: BSN degree, NCC certification, and 1 year in related clinical area.
