We are representing a $100M manufacturing organization who is actively seeking an Assistant Controller/Senior Accountant. This is a newly created position that will work closely with the Site Director of Finance on plant level budgeting and planning activities. This organization has been named in multiple publications as a "Top Places to Work" and is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!

• Candidate will work closely with Site Director of Finance and executive leadership while assuming ownership over budgeting, reporting and planning function.
• Help support month end close process
• Maintain various records, ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
• Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on costs
• Provides management with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures.
• Work closely with Senior Financial Leadership on project based activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
• 2+ years of strategic financial accounting experience within the manufacturing sector.
• Experience with month end close
• Candidate should have leadership aspirations
• Candidate should be well versed in Excel
