The Maintenance Planner will provide support to the Site Manager with operational activities in housekeeping, facility maintenance, equipment and supplies.

• Works with managers and assigns individuals or groups as required to complete work
• Define requirements, develop scope, lead, monitor, inspect and manage facility improvement projects
• Performs daily processing of facility documentation including: generating, routing, and tracking work request, work orders, preventative maintenance work orders, and organizing the maintenance department
• Assumes the lead role in planning, executing downturns, outages and coordination of jobs and tasks
• Performs scheduling and layout of operations, and inspection and surveillance of materials, methods, and equipment used
• Support and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, employee safety, and other housekeeping/facility programs
• Evaluate work requests ensuring sufficient detail, drawing accuracy, detailed specifications and proper routing
• Perform other duties as assigned

• At least 3 years of facility maintenance experience
• 2+ years of experience as a facility coordinator or scheduler
• Knowledge of CMMS systems is a plus
• Good computer skills and knowledge of programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to give and share information to/with co-workers, customers, and management in order to achieve optimum plant performance
• Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good organization/administrative and time management skills
• Comprehension of equipment manuals is a plus
